Getting Started

What if I’ve never worked out before? 100% okay!! You don’t need experience or to be in shape to get started. This is HOW you get started. We will coach you through every movement and meet you exactly where you are.

What if I can’t finish a workout? Again, 100% okay and completly normal. Not everyone finshes every workout - the goal is to work at your level. We don’t compete or keep score here. You’re welcome to take breaks as needed.

What should I wear/bring? Wear comfortable workout clothes and bring a water bottle. We typically train barefoot (or in socks!) but if you’re more comfortable in shoes, we just ask that you bring a clean pair.

How long is a class? Most classes are 45-60 minutes. 10-15 minute mobility and movement prep warm-up, discuss the workout and then 30-40 minutes of the workout.

After My First Class

What happens after my first class? Once you purchase a membership, we will schedule an Intro to Movement session. This is an hour one on one class where you can build confidence with the foundational kettlebell movements. Then you are ready to join regular classes where we will continue to help you out.

Do I have to sign a contract? Some of our membership options do lock you into a one year contract, but this gets you a discounted rate. You can just purchase one month without any commitment.

How often should I come? This is up to you! Our most committed members come 5-6 days a week. Many start with just 2-3 classes per week. We can chat and help you find a schedule that fits your goals and life.

The Workouts

What does a class look like? Every day brings something different, yet all workouts focus on hinge, squat, push, pull, carry/TGU. Workouts are full body and use a mixture of kettlebells and bodyweight movements. Workouts can be to a timer one day and at your own pace the next.

Can beginners keep up? Absolutely. Every workout can be modified or progressed. The cool thing about kettlebells is that they come in such a variety of sizes that everyone can do the same workout with a bell that is just right for their capabilities.

What if I have a bad knee/back/shoulder? Please tell us! Our coaches can provide modifications so you can train safely while still building strength.

Is it only kettlebells? Kettlebells are our foundation but we also use things like medicine balls, dumbbells, barbells, bike, rower, bands, boxes, your own bodyweigh.

Do I have to do the classes? Nope. While most members love our coach-led classes, you are also welcome to come in during class times and use the equipment in the back on your own.

How many people are in a class? Classes vary from 2-3 people up to 15 people. Average class size is around 6 people. PM classes are typically smaller.

What is the demographic? All ages and fitness levels! Whether you’re brand new to strength training or have years of experience, you’ll fit right in. Most of our members simply want to become stronger, healthier and part of a supportive community. 80% are female and ages range from 20-70!
